Thanks to a major new opportunity secured for Maiden Lane by local Lib Dem councillors, young people from Maiden Lane have been working hard to design a new play space.

This afternoon, 12 - 4pm, Maiden Lane residents and children have a chance to have their say on the ideas - and enjoy a free BBQ at the same time!

There will also be a bouncy castle, face painting, a competition for young people to design a flyer, and free plants for the first 50 residents who give their views.

So come down to the football pitch between 12 and 4pm today, for what should be the most enjoyable consultation ever!
